Hi
Keeping pets and children off the lawn is easy.My concern is other wildlife. My garden is visited by hedgehogs and wood mice, not to mention the blackbirds probing for worms. What would be your advice using this product under these circumstances ?
Regards
Michael

Hi Michael

We would always advise that you air on the side of caution, if you are not confident that the wildlife won't be around for the 2 weeks then I would not apply.

How should I use this in conjunction with your slow release fertiliser treatments for combo weed control/fertiliser schedule?
Question by: Benjamin on 14 Mar 2021, 09:02
Hi Benjamin

You can use both over the course of the summer but we recommend that you wait at least 6 weeks before applying another fertiliser. The Feed, Weed & Mosskiller has a quick release fertilising aspect and will feed the lawn for up to six weeks then you can consider something like the Slow Release for a more long term feed.

Hi there...I’ve used this product on my lawn and it’s defo improving things. The moss is starting to turn black and some of the weeds seem to be dying back.

How often can I apply and is it ok to use this in conjunction with a selective weed killer such as weedol or resolva?

Thanks

Question by: Rich Turner on 22 Mar 2021, 12:54
Hi Rich

Thank you for your enquiry. It isn't something we would recommend applying regularly and you shouldn't really need to. Again, applying with other weedkillers is something we wouldn't advise. We couldn't comment on how well the products would work and also what they contain and how they would work or react together.

using a scotts easygreen rotary spreader for feed, weed moss killer - what setting should it be on?
Question by: derek on 24 Mar 2021, 18:44
Hi Derek

Whilst we can't be 100% accurate with this as the spreader is not one of our products but normally for this spreader and the product we would recommend 26.5 for the setting.

How soon after applying your feed weed and moss killer can I mow the lawn?
Question by: Alan Blundell on 26 Mar 2021, 16:50
We would advise that you mow prior to application. We would then advise on waiting a minimum of 2 weeks before mowing again.

I have bluebells, cowslips, crocus and many different types of wild flowers growing in the lawn, is it safe to apply this product now (early April), or should wait ? or should I not use it all ?? If I can't use it, can you recommend another product that is safe to use?

Thank you for your help
Question by: James on 2 Apr 2021, 12:06
Thank you for your question.

The blunt answer to this question is that if you want to maintain the wildflowers in your garden then applying any sort of weed or mosskiller isn't really advisable at all.

Wildflowers tend not to prosper in that environment.

Hi,

I want to use this to get rid of some weeds, how long does the feed last? I have some spring/summer fertiliser so wondering how long to wait after using this?

Thanks
Question by: John on 2 Apr 2021, 18:17
Hi John

The fertiliser will last up to 6 weeks, once this time is up then you can apply an additional fertiliser.
Answer by: Roisin McCann on 6 Apr 2021, 11:20
I need to seed a completely new lawn, can this be used as the only fertiliser I put down before I seed the new lawn or should I also use an additional fertiliser?
Question by: Gordon Smith on 6 Apr 2021, 21:48
Hi Gordon,

Yes, the quick release fertilising action in this product will help nourish the soil. Ideally we would recommend the Quick Release: Pre Seed as this has adequate amounts of nutrients to help improve the seed bed and assist with germination.
