Is it best to not mow before applying this? And can I put topsoil over it after 2 weeks? My garden is 70% weeds & moss plus very uneven and hard ground so planning a complete overhaul!
Question by: Christina on 14 Sept 2023, 16:23
Thank you for your question, You don't have to mow prior to application and once the two weeks are up and the weeds and moss have been cleared you can go ahead with any seeding.

How long after using the feed weed and moss killer do you see the weeds die off
Question by: Ian on 14 Oct 2023, 13:54
It normally takes around two weeks for the moss and weed treatment to work and then the fertiliser will continue to nourish the lawn for a further four weeks.

The Feed, Weed and Moss Killer works over a period of two weeks to eradicate the following weeds alongside moss:

Common Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
Creeping Buttercup (Ranunculus repens)
Creeping Cinquefoil (Potentilla reptans)
Daisy (Bellis perennis)
Greater Plantain (Plantago major)
Lesser Trefoil (Trifolium dubium)

Selfheal (Prunella vulgaris)
Thyme-leaved Speedwell (Veronica serpyllifolia)

Hi, How efective is this against bull thistle, as the lawn in the house I have just moved into hass a lot of this coming through (along with dandelion and a whole host of other weeds)?
Question by: David Harris on 8 Apr 2024, 14:47
Hi David,

Our Weed, Feed and Moss Killer offers your grass a dense feed of nutrients so it can out muscle weeds while combating weed and moss directly to kill them off.

This fertiliser is a good solution for controlling the problem of the issues you are having with your lawn (and most common UK weeds), but if you would like us to take a closer look at the extent of the Bull Thistle invasion on your lawn, please send us a few photos of your lawn to [email protected]

Thank you

How long should I wait after applying before seeding with clay seed and topsoil?
Question by: Olivia Louise Halvorsen-Gordon on 15 Apr 2024, 17:23
Hi there,

This treatment lasts over 6 weeks. I would advise waiting until the six weeks have passed before planning to do any seeding. Let the moss and weeds die off, scarify out the dead material then continue with your seeding process when this time has passed.

I hope this helps

Many Thanks
Roisin
