Can the slow release feed be applied more often than every 4 months? Its been a few months since I used the feed and its looking like it could do with another
Question by: Billy on 5 Jun 2022, 10:25
Hi Billy, thank you for your question.

We recommend allowing at least 12 weeks before applying any more of our SLOW RELEASE: Spring/Summer Fertiliser. We would suggest judging whether you feel that your lawn needs more feed, as overfeeding your lawn and giving it too much nutrition can have an impact on your lawn.

This says 12-0-6 NPK - but your fertiliser guide refers to 12-6-6 which seems more suitable for this usage, please can you confirm if this is a typo?
Question by: Parf Daddy on 11 Jul 2022, 20:10
Hi, thank you for your question. 12-0-6 NPK is the most recent up-to-date analysis. One of our fertiliser guides may refer to an old specification. I apologise for any confusion caused!

I sowed my garden from seed towards the end of last year and lots of the blades of grass are turning yellow. Wondering if I need to add fertiliser?
Question by: Tom on 2 Feb 2024, 12:44
Thank you for your question.

Yellow is usually a sign of a lack of nitrogen and can be easily rectified with a nitrogen rich fertiliser. Either of our Spring/ Summer fertilisers will help and also the liquid fertiliser - Make it Green.

Hi,
How do I use this in conjunction with weed and feed? I have quite a bit of moss in the lawn so need to treat that but don't want to overdo it with weed, feed and fertiliser.
Thanks.
Question by: Philip on 26 Feb 2024, 08:59
Hi Philip, the feed aspect of the Feed Weed & Mosskiller will last up to 6 weeks. Once this time has passed, you can then apply another fertiliser,

How early in the year can I apply spring/summer slow release
Question by: bill h on 29 Feb 2024, 10:44
The recommended time to start applying treatments to the lawn is from spring onwards. Anytime from March is fine, just as long as the risk of frost has passed.

Yes, you can apply the liquid treatment after the granular application. I would allow at least a few days between applications.

HI I have a very active GSD who has completly destroyed my lawn in the middle. I am thinking of cutting the remainer of the lawn very short and then seeding one part and fencing off. Then once that takes do the other side. Will your grass seed stand up to having a GSD charging around

Thank you for your questions. If your lawn gets a lot of use then we would recommend our FAMILY: Kids and Pets. It produces a hard wearing, lush and versatile lawn. It is 80% perennial ryegrass (hardwearing, fast growing) and 20% fescue which is finer leafed to create a lush sward.
