Thank you for your question.

Yes, you can use Make It Strong on new lawns. It will help strengthen the new lawn and improve its resilience to frosts and any winter diseases.

Is this feed safe for pets?
Question by: Claire on 22 Aug 2023, 10:51
Thank you for your question. Yes, the liquid fertilisers are safe for pets and you don't have to keep them off the lawn after application. However, for best results and to allow for even penetration of the fertiliser, we do recommend keeping them of the lawn for 24 hours after application.

Hi, Need to over-seed and patch repair the lawn plus fertilise for winter. Liquid fertiliser suggests doing Sept-October. When should I over-seed and fertilise? Thanks
Question by: Marek on 31 Aug 2023, 08:01
The grass sowing season is generally from March - September but you can confidently sow grass seed when temperatures are 8-10 degrees and above consistently for at least two weeks with no adverse weather conditions forecast. Always consult a two week forecast prior to sowing. Our liquid fertilisers are all fast acting and will provide nutrients for up to six weeks.

Hi there. We over-seeded our garden with your clay master lawn seed in the end of September. We should have an established lawn by the 2nd week of November, should we still fertilise it using this product? Or would it be more appropriate to use the granule fertiliser?
Thank you.
Question by: LC on 2 Oct 2023, 14:26
I would recommend going with the liquid option - Make it Strong due to the time of year. With the granular fertilisers, there will be some degree of watering and temperatures are usually much cooler by November, which can make it difficult for the product to dissolve. So for a quick application, I would suggest the liquid fertiliser.

Hi, how long should a newly sown lawn be left before applying fertiliser such as Make It Strong?
Thanks for any help
Question by: Ken on 10 Oct 2023, 14:03
You can apply the fertiliser once the lawn is established, which is usually around 6-8 weeks after sowing
