At The Grass People we are becoming increasingly concerned about the threat to the UK’s bumblebees and we have been keen to get involved with a project that will assist in the conservation of our nation’s pollinators. So when the opportunity to work with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust arose, we were delighted to be part of it.
We have teamed up with Bumblebee Conservation Trust to inspire everyone in the UK to sow wildflower seed and help sustain pollinators and bumblebees.
How to enter the competition
The Grass People are giving away 50g of free wildflower seeds to 100 lucky winners, with a choice of either Meadow Magic or Bees and Pollinators. The competition opens on Thursday 5 October 2017, entry forms can be found here.
Fill out the entry form and select which mixture you prefer before Thursday 19 October to be in with the chance of winning. The 100 winners will be chosen at random, announcement of winners will be made on social media and contacted via email on Friday 20 October.
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was established because of serious concerns about the 'plight of the bumblebee', you can find out more and how to support them on their website www.bumblebeeconservation.org.
