Care and maintenance for your sprayer

Step 1: Depressurize the pressure chamber

Release any remaining pressure from the chamber to ensure safety and proper storage

Step 2: Clean thoroughly

  • Rinse the tank, nozzle, filter, and other components with clean water
  • If the nozzle or filter becomes clogged, clean them with water - avoid using metal objects to prevent damage

Step 3: Maintain moving parts

Apply a few drops of oil or grease to the joints and moving parts regularly to extend their working life

Step 4: Handle or filter issues

  • If the handle (358) jams or the filter (346) is dirty:
  • Release the grip (357) and remove the filter by pulling it out
  • Clean the filter thoroughly, lubricate the joints, and reassemble the parts

Step 5: Replace the chamber seal

  • Disassemble the hook lance (953) and remove the chamber (672/995)
  • When removing the chamber, the agitator will fall to the bottom of the tank, remove it
  • Unscrew the valve (365) using the agitator's crosspiece. Be careful not to lose the ball inside Replace the seal (133/497), and reassemble the valve and chamber, ensuring the ball is correctly positioned

Step 6: Replace the cylinder

  • Disassemble the hook lance (953) and remove the chamber
  • Reach inside the tank and unscrew the cylinder by hand
  • Screw in the new cylinder by hand until it is securely tightened

Step 7: Store properly

Store the sprayer indoors, protected from extreme temperatures. Ideal storage conditions are away from frost and intense heat

Top tips

  • Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and prevents costly repairs
  • Handle parts carefully to avoid losing small components like the ball in the valve system
  • Proper storage keeps the sprayer ready for use and prevents weather-related damage
