Product Description
The Hypro Deflector Nozzles are your secret weapon for more precise, even and faster coverage when using liquid fertilisers, weedkillers and other liquid treatments.
As an attachment for knapsack sprayers, these precision-made nozzles are clog-resistant and create a wide-angled spray from 80° - 145°, to allow for a consistent, continuous spray. Your applications will remain focused as you have total directional control, meaning you can treat your lawn exactly where it's needed. Whether you're feeding your grass or targetting specific areas with a treatment, you can avoid spraying delicate areas such as gardens beds, flowers or shrubs and eliminate the risk of any damage from accidental overspray.
Whether you’re looking to improve coverage, boost speed, or simply make lawn care easier, the Hypro Deflector Nozzles are a must-have. For lawns big or small, they’re designed to operate smoothly across a wide pressure range and will fit with the full range of sprayers we supply here at The Grass People.
Usage Guide
Getting the most from your Hypro Nozzle
- Installation: Detach the existing nozzle from your knapsack sprayer and securely attach the Hypro Deflector Nozzle
- Pressure settings: Operate the nozzle range of 10psi to 60psi, depending on your specific application requirements
- Application: Maintain walking speed and keep the nozzle at a uniform height to ensure even coverage
Our Hypro Deflector Spray Nozzles are compatible with all our Sprayers!
Aftercare
Maintaining your nozzle
- Clean the nozzle: After each use, rinse the nozzle thoroughly with clean water to remove any residual chemicals. This prevents buildup that could affect spray patterns
- Deep Cleaning: Periodically, soak the nozzle in warm, soapy water to dissolve any stubborn residues and ensure all deposits are removed
- Spray Pattern Test: Occasionally test the nozzle by spraying water to ensure it produces a consistent and even spray pattern. Inconsistent patterns may indicate the need for cleaning or replacement
Storing your nozzle
- Drying: After cleaning, allow the nozzle to air dry completely to prevent corrosion or mold growth
- Safe Keeping: Store the nozzle in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures
